St. Peter’s is a theocentric (God-centered) church believing in God the Creator, Jesus the only begotten Son of God and the Holy Spirit as the teacher and director of our faith. Thus our faith does not, in any way, differ from that of the world-wide Anglican Communion and the Anglican Church of Uganda. It worships in Luganda, the most widely-spoken language in Uganda and maintains the Anglican Church of Uganda tradition from which it draws most of its liturgy and form of worship. It uses the Anglican Church of Uganda prayer book, based on the 1662 Anglican Book of Common Prayer.
